About Me
- Mrs. Hall
- I am new to teaching third grade this year. I previously taught Kindergarten for five years. I always hear how it takes someone special to teach Kindergarten....I'm hoping it takes someone just as special to teach third grade too. I believe a great teacher is somebody that's going to treat the students like the people that they are, keep them excited about school, and to make learning fun! I have three wonderful children, twin girls and my little boy, who keep me quite busy when school isn't (when is that???). I have a fantastic husband, who thankfully is addicted to football and all other sports as much as I am to teaching!!

Not a whole lot of time to create before open house, but could work on drawing our friends in pieces (face, hair, shirt, pants/skirt, shoes, skin, etc.). Could be a good closing to our student of the day drawings that open the school year.
Back to School night or Open House-"Paper students" are set up to greet parents.
Great visual for "We're all the same inside"
For older grades....1st and up?? I say not for K, because my students never comment on each other's skin color in a negative manner. Great visual!
Martin Luther King or Cultures unit...brown egg, white egg...what is inside is no different...
Circle Time....adds excitement!
Great way to make questioning easier and to help with time management at my busiest/fastest paced time of the day!
Great calendar activities. Love this.
